Goodbye 2008.
So now it's time - time to shake off the bad memories and bad habits of last year. Time to move on, time to change, time to start writing preachy blogs and taking things seriously. I'm kidding, of course. About the second part.
A little while ago I decided on 2009's potential resolutions.
Take more photos,
Drink more water,
Exercise more,
Write to people,
Blog.
After a month of testing each one, I have decided to make a real, conscious effort with the first two. Hopefully, with a lot of plans in the pipeline for 2009 already, the last two should come naturally. And as for exercising more - I'm getting a Powerball and Fi has kindly sent me her foolproof Nat Cass workout DVD. If that isn't enough to motivate me, then nothing is, and I am destined to become obese and live off benefits, eating crisps and watching Jeremy Kyle all day long.
I also strive to do the following:
Listen to as much new music as possible,
Go to as many gigs as possible,
Get a part-time job which I actually enjoy,
Go on as many roadtrips as possible,
Take my driving theory test,
Utilise my Twitter account,
Write and record more music,
Learn how to be good at pool,
Find a decent Lincoln open mic,
Hang out with my big brother.
Wish me luck.
